Whole and Human
Some people naturally thrive in peace.
In the slow, in the quiet, at a pace that
doesn't need to be explained.
To do things slowly, to have little activity around you,
to feel at home in the silence
– this can be a completely natural rhythm.
Yet this rhythm is often not encountered as
something natural.
It is explained, corrected or adjusted,
to many gradually learn
that their own rhythm must give way to the forms
around them.
Maybe you recognize some of this.
Many of us have adapted to a pace
which is not entirely our own.
A way of being, an understanding of who we are,
and a rhythm that gradually
has moved us a little away from something more original.
Not because there was anything wrong with us,
but because the world around us
already had a shape.
Yet there is often something within us that we don't quite forget.
A quiet feeling that there is a
a different way of being in life.
A way that is not about becoming something more,
but about recognizing something we already are.
That we are already whole.
About Whole and Human

«"When life is allowed to take root in the body
The search outside ceases.
Wholeness arises when what we thought was missing
no longer experienced as absence.»

Whole and Human is about a way of being in life where we no longer live divided between what we know, what we think and what we try to be.

About the author

I have explored what it means to be human when the experience of self is allowed to anchor itself in the body. This exploration does not stem from a chosen work, but from lived experiences with limited capacity and a sensitive nervous system, in a life marked by a lot of responsibility and events that have not always been easy to face, and of which the body has had to endure the consequences over time. This has made it necessary to find a more sustainable pace and a different way of understanding identity and direction in life.
